Percy Bysshe Shelley considered the search for love a quest to find one’s other half. “We are born into the world and there is something within us which from the instant that we live and move thirsts after its likeness” (Shelley, “On Love”). Jamie and Cersei Lannister take this definition of love to its most extreme end. Explore the relationship of House Lannister’s twins in term’s of Shelley’s definition of love. Investigate the romantic affairs of Tyrion Lannister as he seeks to be acknowledged as more than a “halfman.”
