Acclaimed author George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series will span seven books, five of which are published. And from them, HBO has adapted "Game of Thrones," a hugely popular fantasy TV series. In doing this, however, the fan base became divided. There are those who have read the books, and those who remain blissfully ignorant of them, choosing instead to rely on TV for the full story. This year at LeakyCon, the hosts of Game of Owns will guide panel discussion exploring the benefits of each position, with help from other popular book-to-screen adaptations, including the recent magical 7-book series, "Harry Potter."
